As all of you probably know, Vanity finally came of age, not that this really changes anything in her life. More significantly would be the drama that happened at her celebration.
While playing Seven Minutes in Heaven, the elder Mr. Black rejected his girlfriend Whitwhit because she was drunk and he actually cares about her. As boring as this sounds, it turns out Cassi feared he was rejecting her because he didn’t want her at all, and promptly left the tavern, deciding that drinking even more would help her cope with the feeling that Sirius didn’t want her.
They say chivalry is dead, but I say it is more the respect for it that has diminished. We’ll have to wait and see whether these two can patch things up, or if they’ll fall apart just like the romance they interrupted.
